A thing I have noticed upon reflection (and have seen in the manosphere) is that foreign girls don’t talk so much or feel a need to fill a silence with words.
I was hanging out with a Columbian Au Pair, eating lunch somewhere (she paid) and there were many moments where she was completely silent or content to just think or look around. It might have been the fact that she has only been in the U.S. for a month and doesn’t want to look bad with her English, but she seemed perfectly fine. I found myself wanting the fill the silences I usually long for in conversation with ‘native’ Americans.
I’ve noticed this in girls in England as well.
Has anybody else noticed this? American girls are not comfortable with silences and feel the need to chatter about anything and everything because they can’t enjoy the silence?

I fully agree. This year, during my Ayahuasca ceremony, I became a bit obsessed with language and how it controls life. It is fascinating.
Words only ever describe things. If you are with a person you enjoy, words are unnecessary. But it can be scary, too. Our inner talk often controls emotions.
My tip to being fully in the moment: Imagine words did not exist.
It is a bit scary to do. Things almost become a little too real, especially if you are used to suppressing emotions. Even the more scary with another person. Makes you realize how little control you really have over situations without the controlling and directing effect of language. Makes you realize how much you are used to focusing on the meta-information instead of experiencing without constant categorization.
In fact, if there is no word for something, it may as well not exist. There are tribes who do not know the word ‘blue’. They actually do not recognize the color!
So how much do we miss simply because we have no words to describe it? How much do we reject because we have no positive words for it? Like selfishness. Control language and you control people.
Agreed. That is why SJWs seek to expand definitions and constantly make up new words. That’s why they wanted to control the schools. If they control the language students use, they control how the students think.
And also – supposedly Russians see the most color, for they have the most words for colors!

Interesting about the russians. The same tribe that did not recognized blue recognized very many different shades of green that looked pretty much identical to me.
