Thanksgiving: Rejoice

My feelings on this day are summed up by:

When I meet a man with more notches on his belt than I, I rejoice, for he may have something to teach me.

When I meet a man with less than notches on his belt than I, I rejoice, for I may have something to teach him.

When I meet a man who has the same taste in women as I, I rejoice, for he is a man of good taste, like me!

When I meet a man who has a different taste in women than I, I rejoice, for nary a woman shall come betwixt us and our friendship.

And there you have it.

Now I excuse myself to spend the rest of the day with family.

  2. When I eat an apple, I think of the beauty of a breast.

When I eat a banana, I think of the glory of my penis.

Something bothers me about the latter analogy, though.

      • No, really. My penis is glorious. The penis in general is glorious. Yours too. I do not mean it in a purely sexual sense, but as a symbol of strength. Swords, pillars et cetera. The phallus stands for everything worth living for. It has some kind of unyielding and dark beauty, if you think of it.

My problem is the eating part. I should not have used food for the metaphor.
