Indeed. They probably don’t even wear pants, but shorts, to accommodate them brass balls.
When the cop ask you your ID do you have to hand it to him? If he asks your name do you have to answer? If he asks you if you’re a citizen?
No. If they do not have probable cause to stop you, you are free to go and they are not legally allowed to do anything.
This doesn’t stop them from trying to act as if that wasn’t true, though.
