The other day, I made a silent promise to myself about a conflict that got me into a big amount of trouble. It was the promise that I no longer want to attract that kind of darkness into my life. I believe someone or something heard it. I think that when we really want something, it happens. It is the times where we are not so certain about what we want – then we usually get a taste of the thing we would rather not have.

Do you think praying is like an act of active meditation?
I don’t know. I don’t really meditate. Prayers to me are speaking aloud (albeit softly) or speaking in my head.
